Support for Families Who Need It

Caring for a child or family member with special needs can be meaningful, but it can also be demanding. Parents and caregivers often need time to rest, attend to other responsibilities, receive encouragement, and care for their own well-being.

Global God’s Presence Church offers a special-needs respite program to support families in Mbarara. Our goal is to provide practical care, encouragement, and a welcoming community for families who need extra support.

What Is a Respite Program?

A respite program gives parents and caregivers a planned break from caregiving responsibilities while their child or loved one is cared for in a safe and supportive environment.

Respite support can help caregivers:
