Order and Peace in God's House: Unity in Christ
Worship is at its best when God's people gather in peace. Scripture tells us that Christ himself is our peace, and that he broke down the walls of hostility to make us one (Ephesians 2:14-17). That peace should be visible in how we worship together.
The Bible also calls us to do everything decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40) and to be quick to listen and slow to anger (James 1:19). Church leaders are entrusted with guiding each service, and honoring that leadership helps protect the unity of the whole congregation.
